A directonal magnetic field is a "charged" or energy field. When liquids or gases flow through this charged field, the charged particles of the atoms that form the molecules are"excited" (become more active) and realign in the direction of the magnetic field.This increased molecular activity caused by the directional magnetic"energy" field will cause molecules clusters to break upwhere clusters form, or cause indivdual molecules to more aggressively and more completely combine with other compounds or atoms as in the case of fuel molecules (hydrocarbons). This allows the fuel molecules to more readily and more completely combine with oxygen during combustion (burn) in the firing chamber cylinder of a combustion engine.

The specific positioning of magnets within the plastic casing of each magnetic half and the angle of the elliptical groove, in effect cause one half to function as a transmitter and the other half as a receiver creating and driving a magnetic field perpendicular to the direction of the fuel flow, penetrating any fuel line. regardless of the fuel used. As the directional magnetic field penetrates the fuel line, the fuel molecules are excited or energized, enabling them to more readily combine with oxygen for more efficient combustion. With more efficient combustion or more of the fuel molecules the chamber burning, there is less emissions (unburned or partially burned fuel) and less total volume of fuel needed to provide an equal amount of power.

In Simple Terms
Picture a wood chipper at work, a large 2x4 or tree limb being inserted in the one end and being ejected out the other end is small easy to burn pieces of kindeling, if you were to put a 2x4 or tree limb of comparable size on a fire as a whole it would take longer to burn and therefore burn less efficiently and produce more waste. The Fuel Master is like the wood chipper working to break up the gas particles making them ready to be converted to energy, while greatly reducing waste and residue.
Hypothetically, if you needed 100 fuel molecules to burn to go 30 mph, you may have needed to put 150 molecules into the firing chamber just to get the 100 to burn, thereby wasting 50 fuel molecules in emissions burned and partially burned fuel ( carbon &varnish residue as well ). Obviously, you press on the gas pedal to supply sufficient volume of fuel to attain a given speed.
With the Fuel Molecules energized, you may only need 125 fuel molecules in the firing chamber to get the same 100 molecules to burn to go the same 30 mph. This reduced volume of fuel needed to achieve the same power is now your fuel savings!
